Awards 2012
Patty Manley was presented the Tau Chapter Achievement Award for her unselfish giving of her time and talents to Tau Chapter and her community. Patty was serving as President of the Lions Club concurrently with being the president of Mexia Retired Teachers.

The highlight of the Birthday Luncheon was the presentation of the Golden Rose Award to Martha Kirgan for her many years of service to Tau Chapter, Alpha State, and her community.
During the Opening Ceremonies Virginia Riddle was presented the Members in Print Award for her articles on education in the Corsicana Now Magazine which she is the editor.

The "Annie Award is presented to chapters for their outstanding projects and programs during the year. Our homemade Christmas Stocking being given to Freestone and Limestone counties children in child protection and the Navarro College STU Group for their college age former CPS students as well and their International students. The Holiday Tray Greetings going out to the 8 nursing facilities in our counties were a big hit with the residents. Our projects send a message that someone in the community cares about them,
